Wound Care Release Liner Applications
Bandage applications with medicines or skin approved adhesives require either paper release liners or filmic release liners. Fox River Associates’ release liners for medical markets are commonly used in wound dressings for operation recovery. Our release liners for medical markets are also used for burn recovery.
Electrode Release Liner Applications
There are many different substrates used in electrodes. An example is an electrode using hydro colloidal gels or conductive gel using LDPE filmic siliconized release liners as "cover" stock. PET or white PCK paper release liners are often used as a proper material to die cut into when manufacturing various types of electrodes. Finally, thick, formable PET is the type of release liner used for the manufacturing of electrodes having a "formed cup" to contain "dots" of hydrogel. PET release liners are found on grounding pad electrodes as well as nerve/muscle stimulation electrodes.
Working Together for New Product Development
Fox River Associates encourages "starting" the development with Fox River Associates release liners so FDA and DMF qualifications can be covered with product production and approval in it's initial phase so that all release liners are approved in advance of product design.
